Lino Print

In class the pass few weeks our class has been working on Lino Print. Lino print is a peice of card which you carve away in a certain section. Thereore when you put ink on the lino and then place it on a surface only the places not engraved out will show the colour of the ink while the other spaces that a carved away will be left white. In a few weeks I will have finished mine.

Georgia O'Keefe

Georgia O'Keefe was an amazing woman whos inspiration came from America Soutwest and particularly New Mexico where she latter setled in her life. Georgia was mainlyknown for her representations of flowers, rocks, shells, animal bones and landscapes. Her paintings were subtle tonal colours and varying colours. Often she would change her subject matter into powerful abstract images.

Her paintings inspiring and influentual proves that she was an exceptional lady. Even though her paintings made her famous she is remember for other reasons by family and friends.
